What advice would you give to someone who was fixing to go on a job interview?

Cover your tattoos and remove your piercings. Dress for success and be prompt and courteous. Have a copy of your resume to look at while the interviewer goes over it.

Wear shoes and socks that hide your ankles.

Fashion has no place in the job interview.

Be clean and smell good or like nothing at all. Some folks don't like perfume or cologne.

Ask the interviewer's assistant how he or she wants applicants to dress. What advice would you give to someone who was fixing to go on a job interview?
Take a deep breath, answer questions fully and honestly, but don't go on and on, and don't go off on a tangent.

Be yourself. Be polite. Thank your interviewers for their time when your interview is over. What advice would you give to someone who was fixing to go on a job interview?
