Diet and exercise. For exercise do cardio, running, elliptical, bicycling, treadmill and aerobics. For diet, eat a low fat, medium carbs and protein diet, no salt or sugar, drink only water. No processed foods, white bread or white rice, no fast or fried foods.
Stay away from supplements that dont work, caffiene pills and acia berry which is only an anti-oxidant and has nothing to do with fat loss. Just another scam to get your money.I want to try a diet that is short and sweet any advice?
two fingers in the throat diet
Don't listen to Summer. That's a scam.
I would just limit your intake of calories and try to eat enough carbs just for energy for the day.
Check out FitDay.com to help your diet.
I have used every diet known to man but nothing worked as effectively as acai berry. I acknowledge they say that pills will not work, but they sure worked for me, and they've been shown on CNN too. There is a free trial on right now at http://hatits.myinshape.info , why not try it, what have you got to lose?
If you are very serious about losing weight you should have this program. It worked for me and it is the only weight loss program that lost me 12 pounds in one month. It works just amazing and using right info will lose your weight fast . You can find more info here link below.

What are some of the most popular or famous women's dating advice books?
I'm looking for a few women's dating advice books... ones that are really popular or famous in particular. By women's dating advice, I mean these books give advice for women on how to deal with, attract, or keep a man/men either inside or out of a relationship.
I welcome either digitally downloaded e-book suggestions or traditional books.
Thank you for any help! What are some of the most popular or famous women's dating advice books?
Dr. Laura did some book my mom read. I dislike Dr. Laura intensely.

About to be arrianged tomarrow.. Need advice?
What happens during an arraignment? And what should I say or do?About to be arrianged tomarrow.. Need advice?
You will re rearrianged.About to be arrianged tomarrow.. Need advice?
Dave got it mostly right. Arraignment is a person's first appearance in court, excepting the probable cause hearing you had when you were first arrested. You will be asked if you have an attorney or if you can afford to hire one. Don't say anything about your case, just answer the judge's questions. If you tell the judge that you cannot afford to hire one, he will ask you questions about your resources: such as if you have a job, how much you earn, if you own any property. If the judge finds that you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you. He will likely enter a plea of not guilty for you, and you will be set another court date. The time between these dates is the time for you to tell your attorney if you have a defense, or if you will such need to ';suck it up'; and plead guilty, which is usually the case. Be especially courteous to your public defender, even if he/she is not so much so to you. They are overworked, underpaid, and have heard every story you can imagine. Be honest with them. If you have a defense, most all will be glad to help. They wouldn't be doing that job if they didn't.
You will go in front of a judge, be advised of your rights, and the charges against you will be read. If you do not have an attorney, you will be asked if you can afford one. If not you will be given time to get one or have a public defender appointed to you. If you already have a lawyer, you should let them do all the talking. You can whisper your questions to them and they will advise you on how to answer. You will be asked how do you plead to the charges and you will answer. Then the Prosecutor and your attorney will have to strike some kind of a deal. It may not be the same day, so you may have to go back to court again. Then, after all is said and done, you will be sentenced. Fines and probation for less serious crimes, and jail for more serious offenses. Good Luck!!!!
Your name will be called, along with the crime(s) you've been accused of. The judge will ask how you plead. Do whatever your lawyer tells you to do.
Then, the judge will set bail if applicable. If your lawyer has an issue with what the prosecutor recommends for bail, he'll argue it. The judge will consider both sides, and set bail. And that's it. If you put forth bail, you go to your home. If you don't, you wait in jail until your trial.
If you can, have your lawyer do all the talking. In most courtrooms, the lawyer can say, ';Mr. So and So pleads not guilty.'; If that's the case, then SHUT UP. You can only make things worse by talking.
Say nothing. You can't spell, and if you talk the way you spell, you're doomed.
Why are you asking us? If you are going to court tomorrow then you should have a lawyer or at least a public defender.
No matter what.
Say nothing, get a lawyer, plead not guilty.
Then get you mouth piece to talk for you.
Say nothing, sit down, shut up and let your lawyer do the talking.

How do you study for a test or eassy? had many advice which is the best?
many of my teachers, friends and family have even me advice on how to study. before i use to study the night before the test but i found myself forgetting everything when i woke up. so then i began to study the morning of the test. i would wake up at 5 or 6 in the morning and cramming everything. (read everything once). this was very stressful but very effective, no matter what anyone thinks this method is the best for me so far. but now i'm half way in grade 10 and the tests and essay are longer and i can't wake up any earlier. so now i need help finding a new method.
my parents suggested that i write down all the important notes on a scrap paper and write it over and over, copying each sentence many times. my teacher suggest that i study for 30 mins and relax for 10 and continue that ratio throughout the week before the test and never study in the morning. my friends study the night before as i did. i've tried flash card but they not effective cuz i'm very lazy. i need a new method! How do you study for a test or eassy? had many advice which is the best?
i have learned that if you study a day or two before the test and get an overview of what your doing and have a basic ground thought you can do it. STUDY intensely before the test. Your brain will be totally fresh with the things you need before the test begins with no worry of forgetting.
i usually study by simply saying it over and over in my head and repeating the ones I've already studied in line with each other.

We are planning to go to Baguio and want some important advice?
1)How to get there, fastest way possible. Are their any commercial flights?
2)Where is the best place to stay. We really want to rest and relax so we prefer uncrowded hotels and resorts. Is Camp John Hay any good?
Other than that we just want to experience Baguio weather. Any answer will be appreciated.
Thanks :)We are planning to go to Baguio and want some important advice?
1. There is one flight everyday to Baguio. Airline : Asian Spirit.
2. The best hotel is John Hay Manor. It is within the former US military camp, and just about the only place in Baguio where you still see a thick forest of pine trees. Perfect timing for you because even while this is normally peak season, the hotels are giving discounts of up to 50% because of low tourist arrivals in the aftermath of the devastation brought about by the typhoons.
Baguio weather is best at this time of the year. On a December night, the temperature can drop to 10 Celsius. Bring sweaters, jackets, and bonnets. You can also buy these, as well as mittens.
At John hay Manor, you can get yourself warmed by the fireplace at the lobby bar in the evenings, while having drinks to warm your bodies.
Alternatively, you can look for houses within John Hay that you can rent. House rentals there start at P15,000 per day for homes with 3 bedrooms, typically accommodating 10-12 persons. These homes have carports, cooking facilities, dinnerware, and everything you will need. You only need to buy food to cook. You can inquire for ';Forest Cabin'; homes from the John Hay Manor front desk, but you have to do this in a whisper. These private homes are not managed by the hotel, but the front desk clerks know the people with whom you can book, and they get commissions.
Or you can go to the Forest Cabins area, and look for Trining. She is the caretaker of 5 of these homes. We are planning to go to Baguio and want some important advice?

---%26gt; YES! flights will be fastest!, from manila to baguio it will take 50 minutes to get there

--%26gt; i suggest the burnham hotel, or sogo ;p but if you want a relaxing uncrowded hotel...then you will have a difficult time finding it, because baguio will always be like a can of sardines during peak season
Other than that we just want to experience Baguio weather. Any answer will be appreciated.
---%26gt; please plant pine trees and be concerned about the environment
gud lak!
I am not aware if there are commercial flights... but if you ever have to travel on the road, t's best to travel at night or very early to avoid traffic...
I haven't tried Camp John Hay but I think it will likely suit your tastes.
Enjoy

What is so great about sex and what advice do you have for a first timer?
i am 17 years old and am still a virgin. I have thought about many of the consequences and understand clearly how to have safe sex. I am ready to take it to the sexual activity level with my boyfriend, but i would like to know exactly what is so hot about having sex, what about the word sex makes every person get that orgasmy feeling inside?
and what advice do u have to give me for my first timeWhat is so great about sex and what advice do you have for a first timer?
well its going to hurt alot cause its your first time.
just relax and enjoy it! :)What is so great about sex and what advice do you have for a first timer?
Some girls have a hard time getting to the orgasm point but my experience is that oral sex helps them reach that stage if nothing else does.
My advice for your first time is go slow and talk to each other, be open and honest with what you like and don't like. If you can't talk about sex with him then your not ready to have it.
the question is...what ISNT GREAT about sex?? its the best thing you can do. just the feeling it gives u is undescribable. advice? just dont be scared and after your cherry is popped clean up and go back to doing it.
its gonna suck and hurt the first time. it gets better but for girls its so hard to have an orgasm. some of my friends have had sex with like 3 guys and havent orgasmed once. it really is overrated. but go for it and youll find out.
Nothing....it's overrated! Stay a virgin and go to college.

I am going to make Risoto tonight. Any advice I should know before trying?
I want to make mushroom rissoto. I am going to buy one of those specialty packs of rice risoto to start, but I do want to stir stir stir to get a true creamy/starchy consistency. I am not very good at cooking rice -- thought rissoto might be easier. Tips?I am going to make Risoto tonight. Any advice I should know before trying?
Carnaroli is considered the best rice for risotto in Italy with Arborio also good.
As was said by the first responder, do NOT wash the rice first as you would normally do.
I think the rest of the advice in the other responses is also very good.
And, yes, just keep stirring regularly and topping up the liquid until the rice gets to the stage you want it to be.
You can make the process very complicated if you want to get all Foodie, but my experience is that you can get a perfectly delicious risotto by simply frying some onions in an olive oil and butter, tossing in the rice and stirring for a couple minutes (pan still on heat) to coat the grains, adding some wine and cooking that down while stirring, then starting to add stock and continuing to cook and stir until done. Adding other ingredients is a matter of judgment and common sense. Don't put in fairly delicate things at the start (e.g. saut茅ed mushrooms) because they'll fall apart during all the stirring, but you can add tougher stuff (e.g. cooked chicken) a bit earlier in the process.
Be a bit cautious with the seasoning until late in the process. The stock will have a lot of salt in it, so there's probably no need to add much of that.
When you've done it once, you'll have a good feel for the quantities involved and you can wing it. Nothing too bad is likely to happen in you improvise so long as you don't add too much liquid to the rice at one time. Even then, the worst that's going to happen is that your rice might be a bit-overdone due to you having to boil it a little too long in order to reduce the stock.
At the end, when the rice is al dente (or whatever degree of doneness you prefer), stir in a generous portion of grated Parmigiano-Reggiano and serve while still hot. Bellissimo! Buon appetito!I am going to make Risoto tonight. Any advice I should know before trying?
Don't wash the rice before adding it, or you'll lose the precious starch coating the rice grains.
For the best saffron flavor, toast the saffron threads in a small saucepan for a minute over medium heat before crumbling them and adding them to the broth. Don't use powdered saffron, as the real, expensive saffron is often mixed with cheaper yellow spice powders, such as turmeric or safflower.
Try replacing 1/2 to 1 cup of the broth in the recipe with dry white wine for a more complex flavor. Use a good-quality wine; never cook with anything you wouldn't drink.
This recipe makes a type of risotto from Northern Italy called ';risotto alla Milanese,'; traditionally served as a side dish alongside a braised veal dish called ';osso buco.'; You can easily adapt the basic recipe to create a different kind of risotto. Here are a few suggestions:
For ';risotto alla primavera,'; leave out the saffron threads, and add a cup of mixed vegetables towards the end of the cooking time--shelled peas, diced zucchini, chopped asparagus spears, or chopped fresh artichoke hearts all make nice additions. Add some chopped fresh basil, grated lemon zest, and/or fresh lemon juice when the risotto has finished cooking.
For ';risotto alla zucca,'; peel, deseed, and chop a small winter squash such as butternut or acorn squash, add the pieces of squash to the onions in Step 1, season with about 1/4 teaspoon powdered or freshly grated nutmeg and about 1/2 teaspoon powdered cinnamon, and saute until the pieces of squash are tender before adding the rice. Some of the pieces of squash will fall apart completely, so the finished risotto will be lush and sweet and a beautiful golden or orange color. Leave out the saffron threads from the recipe.
For ';risotto ai funghi,'; leave out the saffron threads, and while the risotto is cooking, saute some chopped wild mushrooms in butter in a separate pan over medium-high heat until they are browned and any liquid put out by the mushrooms has evaporated. Stir in the mushrooms when the risotto is done, and season with about 1/4 teaspoon of chopped fresh thyme. If you have access to truffles, drizzle the risotto with black or white truffle oil when it's done, or shave some fresh truffle over the top. (Italians also store their dry superfino rice with truffles so it will absorb the truffle flavor.)
Don't be afraid to stir in that last pat of butter when the risotto is done. This is a traditional step in making risotto, called ';mantecare,'; and it really makes the risotto taste rich and delicious!
It's worth shelling out for a piece of real Italian Parmesan cheese labeled ';aged Parmigiano-Reggiano.'; Less expensive hard cheeses called Romano or Grana Padano are often sold as Parmesan in this country, but they don't have the same complex flavor as real Parmesan cheese.
The creamy texture comes from the rice... it's starchier than regular long-grain. Also, the near-constant stirring makes it creamy.
I have perfected mushroom risotto, and here is my recipe. Hoe it helps, or at least gives you a launching pad from which to experiment.
Sugar Pie鈥檚 MUSHROOM RISOTTO
5 cups chicken broth
1 cup white wine
3 Tbsp. olive oil, divided
1 onion, diced
3-4 garlic cloves, minced
陆 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 tsp dry thyme
2 Tbsp. fresh Italian parsley, chopped
2 Tbsp. butter
陆 tsp. kosher salt
Few twists black pepper
2 cups Arborio rice
1/2 cup fresh Parmesan cheese, grated
5-8 slices proscuitto, chopped (optional)
Fresh Italian parsley, for garnish
Heat the chicken broth and wine in a medium saucepan and keep warm over low heat.
Heat 2 Tbsp. of oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and cook, stirring, about 3 minutes. Add garlic, and cook about 2 minutes more. Add the fresh mushrooms, herbs and butter. Saute for 3 to 5 minutes until lightly browned, season with salt and pepper. Remove onions and mushrooms from pan and reserve.
Add the remaining 1 Tbsp. of oil. Add the rice and stir quickly until it is well-coated and opaque, about 2 minutes. This step cooks the starchy coating and prevents the grains from sticking.
With a ladle, add 1 cup of the warm broth and wine mixture and cook the rice, stirring, until the rice has absorbed the liquid. Add the remaining broth, 1 cup at a time. Continue to cook and stir, allowing the rice to absorb each addition of broth before adding more. The risotto should be slightly firm and creamy, not mushy. Transfer the mushrooms to the rice mixture. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese and proscuitto. Top with chopped parsley before serving.
For starters use aborio rice it is the best for risotto, it absorbs the stock better. make sure you have more stock then rice, keep a good eye on it so it doesn't burn and get stuck to the bottom of the saucepan. What are your main ingredients that you plan to use?
for chicken use chicken stock, if vegetable based use veggie stock, if seafood use fish stock, beef stock for red meat. season to taste, once the rice has absorbs the liquid taste it to see if the rice is soft. and check seasoning.
Its not too hard, just make sure to be patient. fry your onions in oil and butter and then once softened add you rice to the pan stiring for abour 2 minutes. Then SLOWLY add the stop just add bit by bit till it is all absorbed. Good Luck!
I think risotto is harder than normal rice to make. Just keep the temp low and keep stirring and add your stock or wine very slowly, like 1 cup at a time. Once the stock is absorbed add some more.
buy trader joe's mushroom risotto and follow the directions. Easy. Yummy.

Easy. Yummy.
I have two female kittens 7months and 6months and am getting a 8week old male. any advice?
Bella and Smokey are both fixed. My new one will be too eventually, I am just concerned that the females may attack him. Any suggestions?I have two female kittens 7months and 6months and am getting a 8week old male. any advice?
Haha, the biggest advice is to be patient. That kitten phase can drive you up a wall. Kittens go crazy. Anyway, my guess would be that the cats are young enough that even if they don't get along too well at first, eventually they will warm up to each other, or learn to tolerate each other. A new pet in the picture may lead to the others acting out a bit, but give it time. Animals are instinctually territorial of their homes and owners. But they'll learn to live with each other. Introduce them to each other slowly, and don't panic if they fuss and fight to begin with. Be persistant. And don't be overbearing or pushy. They'll come around on their own. Good luck!

Any advice as to what kind of car seat i should get. What are some things you bought but never used?
This is going to be my first baby and I see so much out there to buy but I'm thinking I bet there's so much of this that doesn't even get used. For example: baby bath robes and do I really need infant shoes or do they wear socks all the time? except for special occasions that you can get shoes made out of material, 5 in 1 strollers. playpen, bassinet. Any comments?Any advice as to what kind of car seat i should get. What are some things you bought but never used?
get a stroller with a car seat wait on the crib till your baby is about 5 months get a bassinet for now no baby bath tub use the sink playpen is good because he or she will be in there while you are cooking cleaning you know stuff like thatAny advice as to what kind of car seat i should get. What are some things you bought but never used?
i have 4 kids!!! you definitely do not need newborn shoes they do not wear them, socks only. baby bath robes serve no purpose either, after a bath you towel dry him and dress him. only use a bassinet for the 1st 3 months at the most they grow right out of it, playpen you wont need unless your always outside. do not buy to many 0-3 months size because its like you blink and they are huge go with 3-9 months and so on. the same thing with size 0 pampers get maybe 2 packs of size 1 then more size 2 they stay in those longer..their are many things that are a waist of money, use your best judgment and ask around, I've learned some of the best advice comes from family and friends....
you need a playpen and swing. i would get a five point harness car seat only. my kid learned to climb out of the other one and was standing up on the highway waving at the cars going by. he was only 11 months and the time goes quick. i didn't ever use the baby towels because regular towels soak up the water better, just make sure you use a soft one. i also never used dreft laundry detergent. if your child doesnt get any rashes from your regular detergent dont make an issue of it because it a pain in the **** to wait for a whole load of baby stuff before you toss them in the washer. you will have more important things to worry about. make sure you get gas relief drops, they are a godsend. i had a bassinet but my little boy knocked it over at 2 weeks (he was rolling over already!). this time im going straight to the crib. have lots of burp rags and diapers and onesies. oh and lavender baby wash rocks!!!! good luck!
Well musts (besides the obvious things like clothes, bibs, etc.) are:
Carseat
Stroller
Crib
Swing
Bassinet
You have to have a carseat or they won't let you take the baby home. You need a crib because, well, the kid needs a bed. A bassinet I guess isn't that important but the baby shouldn't be in a crib as a newborn and definitely shouldn't be in your bed so a bassinet is great to have next to your bed. A swing is great because it can help put them to sleep and also it's kind of an extra pair of arms for when you need to fold laundry or clean.
Here's something invaluable: buy a book that lists what developmental steps the baby should be making at each month and dutifully write in what the baby does or doesn't do. You never know when you might have to tell someone at what age the baby held his/her head up to 90 degrees.
Useless: changing table, wipe warmer, swing, bathrobe. Useful: porta-crib, bouncy seat, baby carrier, 12-pack of cloth diapers as burp rags.
you should get the car seat that goes up to 40lbs.
yes tere is a lot of junk you won't use and te more you have the less of anything you use keep it to a minimum, if you get a lot of gadgets - return it for store credit and use it on pampers - you will need at least a 2 year supply. baby's are best in comfortable onesies, so any other outfits are for going out. you need a stroller and a good carseat that will last til they are 4 or 5 so spend the money where it counts carseat, crib. bassinette is a waste of money. playpen is good and can replace the portable bed you can take the playpen when you travel or picnic. baby books used to have lists - follow one and if at all possible breast feed the 1st year - it is good for baby and saves you a ton in bottles, formulas, etc.
bought a changing table with my first baby.. 5 kids later, I never EVER used it...
One person answered that a newborn should not be in a crib. I recommend speaking with your pediatrician about that. As long as you have the crib properly assembled, there's no reason why a newborn can't be in it. My daughter slept in a pack-and-play bassinet in my bedroom for about a week, but she could smell me and always wanted to nurse. Once I moved her into her own bedroom (in her crib), we could get some more sleep.
I agree about the robes. I have two baby bathrobes that never get any use. I take baby from the tub, wrap her in a towel and then put a diaper and her pajamas on her. Robes are useless. My baby wears socks all the time and has only put on shoes because someone gave them to me. She is 3 and a half months old. You might want shoes for a special occasion or a photo, but we attended a wedding this summer and my baby went barefoot.
I have a very basic Graco stroller, but I do like that our Graco car seat can attach to it. I don't know what a 5-in-one stroller is. Also, I got a pack-and-play that has a bassinet attachment to avoid buying a separate bassinet and play pen. We don't have a lot of space in our home so the more items that can do double duty the better. I even got a high chair that attaches to a regular chair, and a swing that folds up and can be put away. I was given a vibrating infant seat which I never use. If I want to put my baby in a seat, she sits in her swing without swinging.
Newborn babies need very little beyond diapers, onesies, and a few receiving blankets (I never used many receiving blankets because my baby was born in the summer and it was hot, so we didn't swaddle her). Save your money until baby is older. You won't need any toys or anything like that until baby is 2.5-3 months old, and even then, you don't need much beyond a play gym and mobile. Also clothing - have a few cute outfits for visiting, but otherwise babies don't need anything fancy. Consignment shops are great for getting cheap baby clothes and they grow out of them so quickly.
I hope this helps a little!
carseat
bassinet
playpen
stroller w/or w/o carseat (but it is so nice when they are little)
no swing (prob wont use more than 3 months)
no tub
no changing table (nice but not worth the money when there are other things you could use the money for liiek clothes diapers or formula)
highchair maybe (can always use walker if u have an apt)
crib maybe (again for apt can always use playpen)
Bouncer maybe (nice but not necessary)

Is there a website I could get legal advice about residential real estate?
My girlfriend and I recently found a house together but agreed to put it in her name since her credit is much better than mine. I'm looking for a way to put both our names on the deed.Is there a website I could get legal advice about residential real estate?
She can add your name to the deed after the property closes, however your name will not be on the mortgage note. If you put down half of the down-payment, closing costs, and make half the payment.....why not.
All she would have to do is quit-claim a half interest in the property over to you. Should any of the mortgage payments be late or if the property is ever foreclosed on it would only effect her credit and your credit score would be unaffected.
Consider carefully how you would take title. If you take it as ';joint tenants'; that means if one of you died the other automatically gets the property and also you cannot sell your half. Otherwords, you cannot will the property to a third person. If you take title as ';tenants-in-common'; you can will the property on anyone you like and you can sell your half interest to any third person. Is there a website I could get legal advice about residential real estate?
while she can add your name, it is not fair for her to do so.
IF you ever watch Judge Judy, to have two people, one with
good credit, one with not, on a deed, who are unmarried,
forces courts into positions they are not designed to be.
why not just write an agreement between you and gf that
if after 3-5 yrs, you are both still together, you will get a new
mortgage with her.
In the RE contract, she can designate how she is going to take title (this has nothing to do with the mortgage). She can put your name on title.
I would STRONGLY suggest that you enter into some sort of legally binding agreement that states who is bringing what to the table, who is going to pay for what while you live together, what happens if you get married, break up, or if something catastrophic happens to one of you. This is much easier and cheaper on the front end than trying to deal with this down the road or if family gets involved. It will be money well spent.colorstay origins

Any advice for someone who has never been to Taiwan?
I am currently a student at USC and have been studying Chinese (Mandarin) since high school. I have an opportunity to study abroad for a semester in Taiwan. I am just a little nervous about living there for 4 months without really knowing much about the country. If you can offer an advice please do so. I greatly appreciate it. Fight on!Any advice for someone who has never been to Taiwan?
As someone who was born and raised in Taiwan, my words to you are: Please do NOT worry a thing! Just relax and enjoy your study abroad experience. Imagine a trip to another major US city for 4 months, and pack what you think you need during the trip. You will be good. By the way, do not drive if you don't have to in Taiwan. They have very adequate public transportation system. I bet you have some friends or classmates who are Taiwanese or their families are from Taiwan. Talk to them please. I promise it will be very helpful!Any advice for someone who has never been to Taiwan?
Don't worry! Taiwan is a great place to visit! You shouldn't be afraid to speak Mandarin with the taiwanese as they will be more than happy that you took the time to learn their language and don't worry about making mistakes, the taiwanese know how hard mandarin is and they love when visitors take the time to learn chinese!
Def. try the food It's amazing! Go to the night markets, And if you have time go to the beaches in the south and the mountains in central taiwan they are worth it!
Taiwan is subtropical in the north and tropical in the south, so keep that in mind when you pack although northern taiwan(taipei) can be chilly in Jan and Feb, Southern Taiwan (Kaoshuing, Kenting) is still warm enough to go out to the beach! Taiwan is a mountainous island and the basic geography is mountains in the central with valleys and plains and a beautiful coastline!
Hope you have a great time!
Hi,
Dont worry, It's only 4 months and the experience is something you wont forget. You might just come back at a later date for a longer stay.
Taiwan is Great and you would always regret if you miss this opportunity.
Food is no problem and most signs here is bilingual-English/Mandarin so you wont get lost.
The City transport system is great and easy to navigate.
Taiwan is Youth Friendly:

I highly recommend to buy a lonely planet book just to familiar yourself with a little bit.
Taiwan (especially Taipei and Koushieng) has a great public transportation. I can say that it's one of the best. Many young people have decent english. People are very friendly and the city is as safe as any city. It's clean and people respect the rule.
Visiting Taiwan is one of the most relax trip for me because The city is structure well and well organized.
Enjoy.
I lived there for 5 years. It's great. You have the most important item covered and that is an ability to speak Chinese. At first you will be overwhelmed by the Chinese street signs and want to stay close to home until you learn your way around. Many of them do have pinyin but that was my initial reaction when I got there. Enjoy the night markets and stay away from the clubs.
Nothing to worry about... I lived in Taipei for 6 years and loved it. One thing I have to point out is that you probably have a mainland accent and some people will think that is strange. I don't know where you are planning to study. If you have a choice, Taipei is the best place to live as it has all the facilities.
(And my 200 words of Chinese won't get me anywhere 鈽?
You already have the language skills. Taiwan is a very safe country. The Taiwanese welcome foreigners. If you get frustrated here just try to smile and relax. Here is a link to a website that you can look at so you will know what to expect. http://www.tealit.com/ Have fun.
Regards,
hi~~welcome to taiwan
taiwan is a safe and friendly country
don`t worry and relax
I to vouch for that you will love here
sorry my english isn`t enough good
But hope you happy in taiwan
ive been there but only a stopover it was taiwan to philippines i wish i could go there someday good luck in taiwan if you are going there
It's really humid there. When you walk outside, you'll be drenched in sweat in less than ten minutes.
My entire family is from Taiwan, and one of the biggest things to remember in Taiwan is politeness. Never point with one finger, that is considered a deadly insult, always point with your entire hand. Since you can speak the language, on the way there make sure you have the pronunciation right, some words sound the same but have different accents. I assume you're going to Taipei, so many signs are in english, when traveling use busses or the subway as much as possible, they're much cleaner than taxies, have everything in English, Chinese, and Japanese. Don't think that the subway is dirty, they have cleaners there a lot, and it's under 5 years old. If you're staying for that long, buy a Taipei Smart Card, in chinese it's called a yo-yo card. They cost more at first, but then you don't have to buy tickets, and you get 20% off for every purchase.
Enjoy you're time there, there's a lot of fun things to do there, my top suggestions, Taipei 101, Maokung, and High Speed Rail, to go to Candin, Alishan, or Hualin. Candin is a beach place, make sure to go the the Beach Resort, it's awesome. Alishan and Hualin are mountains with amazing views, if you go to Alishan make sure to do the sunset tour, bring a lot of jackets for that, i'm from Maine and Alishan was FREEZING. But for most of the time, bring t-shirts and shorts.
Make sure to try the different foods, they're delicious, i suggest bubble tea, there's this frozen ice/milk/bean thing that i can't remember the name of, but it's great, and be adventurous, in Taipei, the Brother Hotel has a great Japanese resturant and a lot of chinese. Try anything, there's food from all over asia, if your not OK with that, then they still have McDonalds.
Have Fun!!

Here is a link to a website that you can look at so you will know what to expect. http://www.tealit.com/ Have fun.

hi~~welcome to taiwan
taiwan is a safe and friendly country
don`t worry and relax
Have Fun!!

Just do your best for good grades, do all the activities you want because this is your last chance, and take your SAT or ACT tests again to see if they are better than last years, and get your senior pictures if you haven't already:)

Tips on breaking in a new baseball glove, It is important to seek out the best advice on this for me.?
I've heard everything from dunking it in water to shaving cream, I am looking for some old school advice.Tips on breaking in a new baseball glove, It is important to seek out the best advice on this for me.?
I would play catch as often as I can and break the glove in that way. Of course, keep a ball in the palm, or web of the glove and put the glove between the box spring and mattress of your bed when you are not playing catch. Accept the fact, that if you want to do it old school, and your glove is made of quality leather, it will take weeks, and maybe months to be broken in the way you want it to be. On the positive side, that quality glove should last at least a few years and be exactly what you want it to be. Tips on breaking in a new baseball glove, It is important to seek out the best advice on this for me.?
I once witnessed a catcher's mitt broken in in about 48 hours. The guy put two baseballs in it, put rubber bands around it enclosing the balls, and held it under water for a few minutes. He then hung it over a sink all night to drip dry. The next morning, he repeated the dunking. and hung it to dry again. That evening he took the bands off and the balls out and hung it to dry overnight. The next morning he rubbed copious amounts of a lanolin based shaving cream all over the leather, making sure to get everything covered, even inside. That afternoon, he rubbed some more shaving cream into the palm and pocket of the mitt and took it to practice. I loved the way it popped!!
I have used a foam I purchased at Academy Sports on my son's glove before. You rub it into the leather of a new (or older glove too) and then put the glove in a warm oven (the foam is designed for this). One application worked pretty well.
A cheap and very effective solution is rubber bands. Simply put a baseball in a normal mit or two in a 1B/OF glove, apply many rubber bands, and let it sit for a few days. Within 2 days, you will notice the leather loosening. Play catch. I got a new glove about 2 months ago. I put rubber bands on it for 5 days, and did my regular pitching workouts and it was game ready a month from the day I received it. Oils work, but I wouldn't risk shaving cream, water, or even the oils. If you want to send it off, there are pros that use special oils and techniques, but it takes about 2 months. It's excellent, but about $100 with shipping expenses where rubber bands are 5$ at wal-mart.
What worked really well for me and my Wilson Elite softball glove was Easton Glove Oil. Comes in a little white plastic bottle (about 5 oz I think). Sometime while you're watching TV or whatever, just massage the oil into every bit of leather you can get to on the outside of the glove. Stick a ball in the pocket and let it sit for about 24 hours. You can repeat the process to try to soften it more, I think I did my glove 3 times. I would not recommend using anything else (like shaving cream) because it'll make the leather smelly or greasy. The Easton Glove Oil is absorbed and doesn't cause a smell or greasiness. It does make the colour a little bit darker, but this'll fade as you further break in the glove.
And of course, besides the oil, playing catch is an excellent way to break it in. Also, in a game, while you're on the bench or on defense between plays, you should have your glove on and be massaging the leather to soften it up. You often see big leaguers ';spit and rub';, which I think is kind of gross.
Most importantly: whenever you're not wearing the glove, ALWAYS keep a ball in the pocket to maintain proper shape. Even during games, if I'm not wearing my glove I'll stick a ball in it or stand it on finger-tips. This keeps it from getting that ';folded in half'; form.
Hope this helps.

The way I broke in my glove (Old School way) was to buy glove oil. Wipe it in the webbing %26amp; the pocket of the glove (the middle of the glove). Then get a softball (put it in the webbing) %26amp; a baseball (put it in the pocket. Then tie string around the glove tight then stick underneath the leg of your bed or underneath a pile of big heavy books. for about 3 days then put more glove oil on it then go have a catch.
Good luck.
i wouldnt listen to what answers you are going to get like putting it in a microwave, shaving cream, oils. just squeeze it a lot and play good old fashion catch with it. i just bought my first very expensive glove this year and i was too afraid to put any kind of oil on it.
Put some oil or grease on it. Then put it in the oven for a while. Then when you take it out, get a softball, put it in the glove. Put a rubber band around it to secure it. Then put the glove under your bed for a week. After a week play catch and your glove will be ready to play with.
Play catch alot, sit on it, put it under your matress, put a ball in it and put tape or string around your glove, use glove softener.

umm im not sure what it is called but there is some stuff that you can buy that you put on the glove and then you bake it. it works really well.
put a baseball in the glove and put a rubber band around the glove to hold it tight
when i got my new mitt the only thing that helped was playing catch everyday for a half hour to an hour, it was good in about a week (:
The last one i got i just played with it a lot and worked with the leather
it takes time

What advice can you give a 20 year old who is not at all feeling like herself?
and who really needs to pull herself together before it's too late? What advice can you give a 20 year old who is not at all feeling like herself?
I can't give you the answer and neither can anyone else here from P%26amp;S... as cliched and corny as it sounds... the answer is within yourself.
I hate when people tell me that.
I never said I wasn't a hypocrite either.
My real advice:
Decisions are hard to make. Sometimes you just want to give up... but life is meant to be lived. You can make mistakes and your personality will change over time... but that is what makes you... well, you. Use the strength that you have left to gather yourself because you are responsible for yourself.. that, and you have to keep telling yourself that you're strong enough.
I don't mean to preach.. and I actually don't have real advice. I'm just also going through a tough time. Oh well. Who listens to their own advice anyway...What advice can you give a 20 year old who is not at all feeling like herself?
b*tch, pull yourself together!!!

What advice would you give to someone who was fixing to go on a job interview?
Cover your tattoos and remove your piercings. Dress for success and be prompt and courteous. Have a copy of your resume to look at while the interviewer goes over it.
Wear shoes and socks that hide your ankles.
Fashion has no place in the job interview.
Be clean and smell good or like nothing at all. Some folks don't like perfume or cologne.
Ask the interviewer's assistant how he or she wants applicants to dress. What advice would you give to someone who was fixing to go on a job interview?
Take a deep breath, answer questions fully and honestly, but don't go on and on, and don't go off on a tangent.
Be yourself. Be polite. Thank your interviewers for their time when your interview is over. What advice would you give to someone who was fixing to go on a job interview?
dress very conservatively a suit for men %26amp; a conservative dress for women

Enjoy.

Grow up, figure out what college you want to go to. Schedule an SAT or ACT test. Study for that test. It's your last year of High School so be prepared to lose a lot of friends, but make a lot during college. Don't slack off, this is your last chance to look good for a college.
HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!鈥?br>
It's your last year so work hard and make the best of it.
be yourself and have fun !
HAVE FUN!

I have created a moms group and spend many of hours working on it. But I can not seem to get any new members, and the members that I do have are not posting.
So I was wonder if ya'll can take at look and see what is wrong with it and tell me things to add or change or whatever.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks so much!

Any advice for someone who is enetering high school?
I will be a freshman starting September 2. Any advice?Any advice for someone who is enetering high school?
stick with your friend's and make new one
be your self and be out going
and try not to get mixed up with the wrong peopleAny advice for someone who is enetering high school?
I just graduated high school. All I can say is don't worry about it too much - it isn't nearly as bad as it seems, and enjoy it while you can. Once it's over, you're off to the real world. You may think this is your life right now, but believe me, it isn't. You're just preparing for your actual life, and once you leave, you can't go back. So, enjoy it, and believe me - things that seem like a huge deal will seem silly when you look back on them later.
Join a group/club of great statis example...sports or for girls something sexy-If you can. If not then just be as nice as possible to people dont cause much conflict and stick in hard with your work ...it will pay off.

I am buying a tattoo kit. I need advice. Can anyone (that does tattoos) tell me a good brand of machine to buy?
I am buying a kit for my son. I have seen kits on the internet and they range from $100.00 to $1000.00. I just want to know if anyone that does tattoos can tell me a brand name of tattoo machine that is good quality. And any hints of what else he will need to get started.I am buying a tattoo kit. I need advice. Can anyone (that does tattoos) tell me a good brand of machine to buy?
None, you can get in a great deal of trouble for tattooing illegally. You have to be licensed, and if he wants to be an artist so bad. Find a reputable artist that will allow him to be an apprentice.I am buying a tattoo kit. I need advice. Can anyone (that does tattoos) tell me a good brand of machine to buy?
Dont buy a kit. If you want to tattoo get an apprenticeship. Do whats right. You wouldnt order a dentist kit or heart surgeon kit! You will accomplish nothing more then wrecking alot of peoples skin.

I need help transferring footage from camcorder to my computer. Pictures is pixelled and dark, any advice?
I am desperately trying to trasnfer footage from my cassette on my camcorder to my computer. When I play the tape in the camera, the pictures is wonderful! When I try to go through my computer program to make the DVD, the footage shows huge pixels and becomes distorted and dark. I have been truly spending about an hour a day on this for the past couple of days and I would really like to figure it out. I'm not a dumb individual and I've read through all the help menus and read the manuals. It still just will not work! But this footage is of an event that I really would like to have a DVD made of. If anyone can help me out with suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!I need help transferring footage from camcorder to my computer. Pictures is pixelled and dark, any advice?
I would suggest that you capture the video as standard AVI without compression. Then burn the file as DVD movie to DVD disc using Nero 7.I need help transferring footage from camcorder to my computer. Pictures is pixelled and dark, any advice?

Teen Gay Guys: Advice on how to be approachable in the MALL? ?
thnks in advancedTeen Gay Guys: Advice on how to be approachable in the MALL? ?
Look friendly, Happy, be positive and don't push anything too hard. Sometime i chat top strangers but i just like to talk about whatevers funny or whatever. I think even if oyur looking for a friendship or partner maybe look on the net for local area's that are related to that sceen. Go to the races if your into dirtbikes go to the beach if your after someone who's there a bit too or if your into party pals go out clubbing there may be jr clubs open some nights for gay teens? well good luck and happy hunting : )
Sommers mumTeen Gay Guys: Advice on how to be approachable in the MALL? ?
You're going to have to look really attractive (work out a lot, wear clothes that fit well, not too tight), and make eye contact. Make eye contact and start conversations with guys who are alone and who are attractive to you. If the conversation picks up, look for some common interests, subjects you can linger on, and suggest that you go somewhere for a cup of coffee. Take it from there.
Be a character in a movie or the Hills. Unless there's a gloryhole in the bathroom it ain't gonna happen hun, trust me! You may get the look but that's to be taken as a compliment, not an invitation to approach.
in general plp don't come up to anybody unless ur like chris brown or tequan richmond, but other than that why don't you try approaching them? i wish plp would come up to me... specially cute guys... who knows, the guy u might want to approach might want to approach u also...
Dress to impress. However, don't go over the top til the point that you look desperate. One thing i have learned from having a gay man as a best friend is that style is everything!
You're have better luck it the amusement park waiting in long lines with talking to others then at the mall.
People never go up to random people and go to talk to them at the mall where I live??
I have no idea. As a teen gay guy I can say I haven't been to the mall voluntarily in 2-3 years.

I am going to buy box color that is like a shade darker than my hair? Advice please?
Right now my hair has golden/red tones that I need to get out. So if I by a shade darker than my hair is right now, is there anyway to do like ';high lights'; with that color so that my hair is not all totally dark, but just darken it up a little bit. In other words, just put a little bit of the color in my hair to neutralize it a little bit without being too dark?I am going to buy box color that is like a shade darker than my hair? Advice please?
If you want to neutralize it, you have to get not a darker colour but a cool shade of the same colour. Anything that says neutral or ash - and yes I suggest you get low-lights. Don't go darker go cooler.
I also suggest you buy a cap and have at least 1hour, if your hair is really long and thick it will take longer. You need someone's help to pull out the hair especially in the back.
Good luck and getting rid of the golden red - keep in mind they sell bottles meant for ppl with red brown hair that want it neural - look into it! I am going to buy box color that is like a shade darker than my hair? Advice please?
you'll most likely find that your red/golden tones will come through.
i have red hair, and when i put brown in my hair, it goes a red-brown color. It will happen unless you go really dark.
i hope this helps.
its always best to go to the hairdresser. :D

Genomics Advice: There are several labs where I can do volunteer work?
A Genetics lab at a university , Clinical Lab at a hospital %26amp; a Biochemistry lab at a university. Which of these should I choose in order to become better prepared when I start school (Genomics degree) I am leaning towards the genetics lab but I am not 100% convinced of that.
Thanks for taking the time to answer.Genomics Advice: There are several labs where I can do volunteer work?
The genetics lab will better prepare you for studying genomics. It will outfit you with the tools you will use in your degree. The clinical lab is more of an application of genomics and isn't very likely to actually teach you any fundamentals of genomics. The Biochemistry lab, likewise is more about structure function relationship, which although an important aspect of genomics, is not typically what genomics focuses on the most.
The genetics lab will be more in line with sequence alignments, clonging and subcloning, etc, things that you do everyday in a genomics setting.Genomics Advice: There are several labs where I can do volunteer work?
You will have plently of opportunities to work in labs in universities during your degree. I would go for the Clinical Lab as it will give a wider experience of the field and therefore a different prespective. Trying as many things as possible is the best way to work out what you want to do once you leave school.
Good luck and have fun!
If you want to be well rounded and able to do more in genomics I personally would volunteer in any other lab than a genomics environment. You will get enough genomics of the right kind in your course work and you don't want to be influenced by short-cuts and any poor/outdated practices you might learn volunteering in that field. If you are well rounded in your volunteer work you will be able to piece together things that other people will not because they have not had your experience. I believe the same principals apply in any profession.

After i replace guitar strings and am up to tuning it, the string always snaps. Any advice?
I try tuning the strings and the tuner says B for the B string but i think i'm an octave low so i tune it higher because the strings feels loose. I keep tuning it higher and higher then when its closing to B, the string snaps. THEY WERE NEW STRINGS. DAMMIT! Any advice? How do i know if it's the right octave? And how would i prevent snapping the string? Any advice on changing strings and tuning them are appreciated. After i replace guitar strings and am up to tuning it, the string always snaps. Any advice?
that used to happen to me a lot when i first started tuning...what i do know...is while i tune...i stop every now and then and press down hard on the string...essentially stretching it out as i tune. I have an acoustic guitar, so i have that huge hole that i use as room to do this, but you could also just use your fingers and move the string very far to either side (as if you were bending the notes. . . )...both maneuvers allow you to stretch the strings out as you tune them, and helps eliminate premature popping =DAfter i replace guitar strings and am up to tuning it, the string always snaps. Any advice?
The best thing you can do is buy yourself an electronic guitar tuner. They are cheap... maybe 20 bucks and you'll pat yourself on the back later. Whenever you tune new strings, it's best to let them stretch a little first, don't tune them straight up right away. Do it real slow. I usually tune a bit, push the string down with my right finger a few times, then tune it up somemore.
You really will find it much easier with guitar tuner though. The strings should have some give, but not enough to hit other strings. They should not be taunt and tight.
do they always break in the same place?
then you have a ';burr'; there
if they break in different places, you aren't doing something right

I really need to change careers and I have no idea where to start. I haven't decided on going back to school or joining the military or switching to another job. I can't make my mind up can anyone or anything help?I am a 24 year old seeking career advice. What can I do to help me decide on a career path?

I would say to choose something that you think you would enjoy for a lifetime, something that you like so much it doesn't even seem like work. Oh, wait... I did that. Bachelor's degree in from an accredited university, perfect job straight out of college, got laid off and can't find ANYTHING. I am working at a fast food restaurant to pay my bills. No lie.

US Army, HooaH!!!!What advice would you give someone who was leaving for army basic training in two weeks?
I would say to have some legal fun first off, but make sure that you spend some time with family and loved ones. If you are able to work out to get yourself if shape as physical training is a lot of basic training. Good luck and thanks for signing up for the Army to help your country!
Run, learn your marching commands, learn the acronyms, practice saluting, practice pushups and situps.
Keep your shut, your mind open and be ready to work harder than you've ever worked before. It's a whole new world until you get used to it. Good luck to you.
Keep your mouth shut, eyes %26amp; ears open. Pay attention to your surrounding. Do what you're told to do by your superiors.
You will never win a pissing contest with a Drill Sergeant. Do as you're told and stay under the radar. Good luck.

My Yorkie tore her ACL 3 months ago and she is still hurting and limping. Any advice?
I have taken her to 3 different vets and they all say she the same. Surgery is risky because of her age (she is 10yrs). We thought she should be better by now. Please help - this dog means the world to me and I dont know what to do.My Yorkie tore her ACL 3 months ago and she is still hurting and limping. Any advice?
The surgeons I work with are very thorough in examining our patients. Many of our patients are older, as ACL ruptures are mostly due to a degenerative process (other are due to trauma). They will recommend bloodwork and radiographs to make sure your pet is in good health for anesthesia. We tailor our anesthetic and pain manegement protocols to the patients - not everyone is the same.
Getting it fixed sooner than later is best as the abnormal motion of the knee causes arthritis which will only get worse with time. Stabilizing the knee will greatly slow the progession of arthritis.
Due to your pet's weight, your dog will do fine with a lateral nylon suture. This is where a piece (or 2) of monofilament nylon are attached behind the febellae (a little bony prominence on the back of the femur) and around to a hole drilled into the tibial crest just below the knee. This nylon will stabilize the knee so that fibrous (or scar) tissue can form to stabilize the joint.
They will also examine the inside of the joint to deterimine if there is damage to the meniscus, the shock exorpent cartilage inside the knee. If the meniscus is torn, the exposed fibers cause pain. If torn, we remove it. If intact, we release it because many will go on to tear it in the future and that would require a second surgery.
Pain medications, possibly antibiotics, and physical therapy are warrented after surgery. Some pets need to have their implants removed due to irritation, but most live the rest of their lives with them. Exercise restriction are very important for healing and don't forget the e-collar - licking can cause and infection and you don't want that in a joint!
Make sure the surgery is with a boarded surgeon, one who is licensed with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. This means they have recieved advanced training in orthopedics. I've seen some general practictioners attempt this surgery and some do ';okay'; but some don't and I've seen them charge twice the amount we do ($2500 compared to $12-1600 - prices may vary based upon your location). I think this is becuase they don't have the correct equipment and expertise and it takes them longer. Anyway, you may have to go to a specialty hospital or university, but it's well worth it to have someone who knows what they are doing.
BTW - insurance for this case would be invalid. None cover predisposing injuries and because this has already been diagnosted, it's too late for coverage.
My dog Molly, a toy poodle, tore her ACL when she got her leg caught in a park bench while jumping off. She was 11 then. She had surgery, did PT, then had her implants removed because they were irritating her, and she is perfectly normal. She is 14 years old now.My Yorkie tore her ACL 3 months ago and she is still hurting and limping. Any advice?
Hydrotherapy will help with recovery after surgery, but once the ACL is torn, the abnormal motion of the joint quickly causes arthritic changes in the joint and can be very painful. I think your dog has many years in front of her and would benefit from surgery.
Besides surgery, the only thing you can do is pain management. Long term use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatories will help, but chronic use of these can have side effects such as liver changes. Eventually, NSAIDs may not be enough to keep her comfortable.
The best thing to do would be to schedule a consultation with a surgeon. They can answer your questions, give advice and perhaps ease your apprehensions regarding surgery. This is a procedure we do often, sometimes 50 + in one week and the majority of our patients are geriatric.
Surgery may be risky because of her age but it is the best answer to this problem. I you have a good vet ,they will do bloodwork before surgery to check her levels and make sure she is healthy enough for it and there is also different types of anesthesia to use if this is a major concern too. Talk to your vet about how they monitor them during surgery and tell him your concerns, dogs are just as important as people and your vet should be able to ease you concerns
even though she is ten dogs are quiet strong animals op for surgery she will recover and it will be the best gift also get dog insuance so atleast you can recover some costs
It is risky for an older dog to have surgery, but sometimes it has to be done. We just had to have a tumor removed from our 16 year old beagle's foot - we put it off as long as possible, but he started having trouble walking. If your little Yorkie is going to be sufferring and limping, surgery might be necessary. It isn't right to keep her in pain.
oh your poor little doggy.
i have a chihuahua who injured her leg as well and she is limping around as well so i know how painful it is to watch your little girl suffer.
our vet has recommended to give her some hydrotherapy which basically means she swims in our bathtub every other day for about 5-10 minutes depending how long she can swim for on that day and it has helped her alot with her limping as it relaxed her muscles and builds up her muscles.
but ask your vet first and see what he says.
good luck

Need advice on how to run sewer pipe from a new room ,trench is already been dug?
need pipe size and how deep the trench should be, A friend? left me with the job half done. Any addvise would be helpful THX SAL.Need advice on how to run sewer pipe from a new room ,trench is already been dug?
Lay the sewer pipe with a gradual slope away from the house,
.05 degrees per foot, join pipes together always checking slope.Need advice on how to run sewer pipe from a new room ,trench is already been dug?
A more standard slope spec is 1/4 per foot (I put a 1'; block on one end of a 4 foot level.
Size depends on what is connected to the line..
1 1/4, 1 1/2, 2 inch ID for sinks
1 1/2 and 2'; for tubs and showers
4'; for toilets
Combinations require upsizing
You need a complete reference book to do this job right.. You must know code and specs for venting, where and how to use traps, Where and how to use a sanitary tee vs a y fitting...
How deep is a matter of where you start and end and keeping the drain buried below the floor, all while maintaining the correct slope. You should shoot for at least 3'; below the floor (measured from the top.. or whatever the slab thickness is) where the drain comes up.. everything downstream of this will go lower..
With the trench dug.. it would be false economy to do this yourself unless you get a lot of information... hire a pro.

I am training a female and need suggestions/advice?
I am training a female. She has alot of fat on her back, under her armpits, on her stomach, under her chin/around her throat, on her arms and on her thighs. Currently I have her spinning for 45 mins 4 days a week, doing boxing workouts for 1 hour 4 days a week and running 3 days a week for 1 mile. She also does abs every other day. Is this sufficient, are there any other suggestions? Please advise.I am training a female and need suggestions/advice?
Truthfully, the cardio workouts are fine, how is her diet?
DIET IS KEY when trying to lose weight. Ask her to keep a food journal of EVERYTHING she eats. This way it will give her and yourself a reasonable look at what she needs to change. She needs to be advised that cheating on her journal will only hinder her process.
Since ,3500 calories is equal to that 'mighty' ONE POUND, what she is eats is just as (or more) crucial than the exercise.I am training a female and need suggestions/advice?
That seems almost alot for a heavy person. If exercise is new to her, she will shed fat fast anyway. Shouldn't you know this if you are a trainer? It does'nt seem like you are training her at all... Make sure she is eating enough, and the right foods. Her results will depend on her diet. I would cut back on some of the cardio and incoperate more wieghtlifting. Have her doing squats, dead lifts. You can have her do some interval training, help her with bench press, then have her run. My trainer worked me very hard, but I was already in shape. He also was with me weight-lifting to make sure I was doing it properly, and as a spoter.
Good Luck.colorstay origins

Lately, I feel I have failed my Wife and she knows I am trying to improve, any advice to help me be better?
That fact that you are thinking this question and throwing it out into the world for advise....says a great deal about your good heart and willingness to be a better man. It does not really matter what we say here in Y/A....but what matters is that you are working on it. What we think is what we are. You are not failing your wife when thinking like this. She is lucky! :0)Lately, I feel I have failed my Wife and she knows I am trying to improve, any advice to help me be better?
I don't know how you failed her, but make sure she knows you love her and that you want to do your best. Then DO IT!! The worst thing is to say one thing and do another.
Buy her flowers out of the blue.
Mail her a card to work. Don't just give it to her.
Take her to a classy dinner or get a sitter and cook her dinner.
Need more? Let me know.Lately, I feel I have failed my Wife and she knows I am trying to improve, any advice to help me be better?
Without knowing how you failed her, it's hard to say, but if you e-mail me privately I can give you some basics. You should have my e-mail from the e-mail group.
Think of her first. They say marriage is a 50/50 arrangement. Nope - if you each give 100% you will will come out close to being even.
Remember your actions will always speak louder than words.
time will heal..
just keep emphasizing how special she is for you and let time do its work.

It isn't right to keep her in pain.
oh your poor little doggy.
i have a chihuahua who injured her leg as well and she is limping around as well so i know how painful it is to watch your little girl suffer.
our vet has recommended to give her some hydrotherapy which basically means she swims in our bathtub every other day for about 5-10 minutes depending how long she can swim for on that day and it has helped her alot with her limping as it relaxed her muscles and builds up her muscles.
but ask your vet first and see what he says.
good luck
